Today started with a wander over to the magnificent Grand Central Station for some breakfast, then to catch the subway downtown.
A quick look at the reflecting pools that mark the position of the North and South Towers of the destroyed World Trade Center Twin Towers, before visiting the 9/11 Memorial.
This museum has some fantastic exhibits and is a very moving experience, highly recommended.
Following this, we had a street hot-dog then ventured up to the 101st floor of the new One World Trade Center, for absolutely stunning views across New York and New Jersey.
A quick lunchtime stop in the glorious sun with record breaking temperatures next to the Hudson River at the Miramar, then we hailed a Yellow Cab to take us up to Pier 83.
After docking, we headed back into the Midtown area via Times Square, to get to Madison Square Garden to see the Harlem Globetrotters putting some basketball moves on their inept opponents.
We then headed back up to Times Square, getting a quick snack of street meat, before stopping it at another Irish Bar for a beer and some dessert.
And so another full day ended.
